Among his many accomplishments, French free software artist David Revoy is the creator of “Pepper and Carrot,” a free/libre webcomic painted and managed with 100% free software, and distributed under Creative Commons attribution licenses, with 3.6 million readers per year. David also created the beautiful FSF 35th anniversary T-shirt and poster designs.

In this presentation, David addresses the relationship between free software, comics, and publishing, and explains why the freedom to share, edit, and reshare software is necessary to unlock the full potential of the human imagination.
