This talk is titled "Building a Liberated Home -- for myself and others," and was presented at LibrePlanet 2022 by Abhas Abhinav.
Abhas is a hacker, entrepreneur, and free software activist. As founder of DeepRoot GNU/Linux, he has helped organizations of all sizes and sectors implement free software in various forms.
This talk is about the choices we must be mindful of when it comes to hardware. The presentation will detail methods, practices, advice and solutions for common technology requirements in a typical home. It will also attempt to offer suggestions on how we can help others after we've solved some of these problems for ourselves.
